Permit Monster may act as the merchant of record, or
A parking operator, property owner, municipality, or other third party may act as the merchant of record.

Where a third party is the merchant of record, Permit Monster acts solely as a technology platform facilitating the transaction. Pricing, taxes, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks are governed by the policies of the applicable merchant of record.

Permit Monster does not store full payment card details. Payment data is handled by authorized third-party payment processors in accordance with their terms and privacy practices.

Refunds and Disputes

Refund eligibility, timing, and method depend on the applicable merchant of record and the specific rules of the parking location or permit.

Permit Monster does not guarantee refunds and is not responsible for refund decisions where it is not the merchant of record.

Disputes related to parking enforcement actions, citations, towing, or location-specific rules must be resolved directly with the applicable parking operator, property owner, or authority.

Service-Specific Terms

Parkers and End Users

If you use the Services to obtain or manage a parking permit or reservation:

You are responsible for providing accurate vehicle and personal information
Permits are subject to rules regarding location, availability, and enforcement policies
Permit Monster does not control enforcement actions taken by operators or authorities
Violations may result in penalties imposed by third parties

Parking Operators, Property Owners, and Organizations

If you use the Services on behalf of an organization:

You represent that you have the authority to bind the organization
You are responsible for listing accuracy, pricing, rules, availability, and enforcement policies
You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Permit Monster acts as a technology provider and does not assume operational control unless expressly agreed in writing

Additional commercial or operational terms may be agreed separately and will be controlled in the event of conflict.

SMS Terms Addendum

If you opt-in to receive SMS or MMS messages from Permit Monster:

Messages may include account notifications, permit updates, or support communications
Message frequency may vary
Message and data rates may apply
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP
You may request help by replying HELP

Permit Monster does not sell, share, rent, or trade mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers that deliver messaging services on our behalf, and only for that purpose.

Our Liability

Use of the Website is at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We disclaim all implied warranties
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses
We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

Either party may terminate this User Agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Website ends immediately.

You may not assign this Agreement without our prior written consent.

Governing Law

This User Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of U.S. courts.

Nothing in this Agreement affects statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
